Responsibilities: * Assisting clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, and dressing * Assisting clients with instrumental activities of daily living such as light housekeeping, meal preparation * Monitoring and reporting any changes in the client's condition to the healthcare team * Providing assistance with mobility and transferring patients safely * Supporting patients with eating and drinking, adhering to dietary requirements * Assisting with medication reminders and medication administration under supervision * Maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients * Providing emotional support and companionship to patients and their families Qualifications: * Compassionate and empathetic demeanour * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Must be able to speak and write in English. Other languages will be an asset. * Professional proficiency in Farsi is required to communicate effectively with clients and their families Requirements: * Current registration with the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry * Completion of a recognized Health Care Assistant program * Previous experience working as a Health Care Assistant in a healthcare setting (minimum 1 year) * Negative TB test completed in the past 90 days * A negative Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check issued in the past 90 days * Certification in CPR and First Aid (preferred) * Reliable transportation and flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends Benefits: * $25.00-$27.00 per hour * Flexible Schedule * Professional Development * Paid Training and Development * Opportunities for Advancement Schedule: Casual/Part-Time * Day shift * Evening shift * Monday to Friday * Night shift * Weekends as needed * Weekends only

Provide essential daily living support to seniors, including bathing, grooming, and meal preparation. Monitor client health conditions and provide emotional companionship while ensuring a safe environment.

Must be a registered BC Care Aide with at least one year of experience and professional proficiency in Farsi. Requires a negative TB test, a clean criminal record check, and CPR/First Aid certification.
