Responsibilities: * Assisting clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, and dressing * Assisting clients with instrumental activities of daily living such as light housekeeping, meal preparation * Monitoring and reporting any changes in the client's condition to the healthcare team * Providing assistance with mobility and transferring patients safely * Supporting patients with eating and drinking, adhering to dietary requirements * Assisting with medication reminders and medication administration under supervision * Maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients * Providing emotional support and companionship to patients and their families Qualifications: * Compassionate and empathetic demeanour * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Must be able to speak and write in English. Other languages will be an asset. Requirements: * Current registration with the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry * Completion of a recognized Health Care Assistant program * Previous experience working as a Health Care Assistant in a healthcare setting (minimum 1 year) * Negative TB test completed in the past 90 days * A negative Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check issued in the past 90 days * Certification in CPR and First Aid (preferred) * Reliable transportation and flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends Benefits: * $25.00-$27.00 per hour * Flexible Schedule * Professional Development * Paid Training and Development * Opportunities for Advancement Schedule: Part-Time * Day shift * Afternoon shift * Evening shift * Night Shift * Weekends *

Requirements
Candidates must hold a current registration with the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry and have completed a recognized Health Care Assistant program. A minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare setting, along with valid CPR/First Aid certification and clear criminal record checks, is required.
