Support Worker / Caregiver Passionate about providing compassionate care? Join our team as a Support Worker and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young adults aged 2-17. This role involves before-school and after-school childcare, including full days on PD days and breaks. Schedule: Monday to Thursday split shift with the occasional Friday. Before school: 7:45 am to 8:45 am After school: 3:30 pm to 6 pm or 6:30 pm Full days: 7:45 AM to 5:30 PM or 6 pm Responsibilities: Provide respite care and support with daily activities Administer medications as instructed Prepare meals meeting dietary needs Assist with mobility, transfers, and G-tubes Offer companionship and plan engaging activities Perform light housekeeping Qualifications: Experience in caregiving Knowledge of medication procedures Physical ability to lift and assist Strong communication and caring attitude Confidentiality commitment Requirements: Valid First Aid Recent Police Vulnerable Sector Check CFS Intervention Check Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Please check out our other job posts on our career page: serenityrespite.careers-page.com

Requirements

Applicants should have caregiving experience, knowledge of medication procedures, the physical ability to lift and assist, strong communication skills, a caring attitude, and a commitment to confidentiality. Required credentials and checks include valid First Aid, a recent Police Vulnerable Sector Check, a CFS Intervention Check, a valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation.
