This is a multi-faceted role where you will have the opportunity to be involved in a variety of functions. If your experience, education and/or skill set match our needs, we want to hear from you! Purpose The primary responsibility of the sales associate is to provide excellent customer service to MUJI customers. Staff must be proactive and excel in a multi-tasking environment which is constantly changing. Staff should be eager to learn as MUJI carries over 7000 products. Ideal sales associates will be well versed in MUJI's philosophy and possess a love for its products. Staff are sometimes required to lift and transport heavy items. Minimal computer knowledge is necessary. Role and Responsibilities Superior Customer service Opening and closing store procedures (cash counting) Balancing cash register Changing displays Restocking Drive sales Receiving Return processing authorization Maintain department and stock room Quickly resolve and/or communicate any issues or problems with management to find appropriate resolution Assist in training new associates Knowledge and Skills Good communication Excellent customer service Initiative Team player Qualifications Previous retail experience and/or excellent customer service experience advantageous Previous cash handling experiences desirable Paid time off, Other, Referral program
