The Meat Wrapper is responsible for carrying out the full range of duties of the position in a professional, accurate and timely fashion. The Meat Wrapper will deliver exceptional customer service, foster customer loyalty, fulfill customer needs and actively contribute to an environment of employee and customer engagement. Here’s where you’ll have an impact: Adherence to all Food Safety Protocols, Standard Operating Procedures, corporate policies and Health and Safety, and other programs and initiatives Provide customer service to meet customer needs Accurately wraps, packages, prices, labels, and dates all meat and poultry products in a financially responsible manner Keep work area clean and presentable at all times Handle, organize, and rotate products in accordance with company standards Accurately records information in all appropriate logs Perform program execution and merchandising product, following company presentation standards Handle and prepare deli products in accordance with company quality standards and food safety protocols Increase store sales by actively promoting products Participate in the training of junior staff Order and receive stock in accordance with company inventory control procedures Maintain and prepare meat products for service case, if applicable Process department shrink Other duties as required What you bring to the table: Customer service Service standards Customer offering Full knowledge of department operations and skills Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment Customer Service Interpersonal Skills Job Knowledge Adaptability/Flexibility Dependability Productivity Teamwork Enthused Selling May be required to lift up to 50lbs Two person lift required for weights exceeding 50lbs Ability to stand for long periods of time Physical work including; but not limited to bending, lifting, and reaching Exposure to varying temperatures over short periods of time Exposure to sanitation and cleaning chemicals Flexible hours and overtime Learn more about our story and culture: Who We Are | Why Work With Us Total Rewards We offer a Total Rewards package designed to support teammates at work and in life.
