Southern Irrigation is actively seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team for our Chilliwack location. JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: Graphic Designer & Marketing Support Rate of Pay: $25–$35/hour depending on skills/experience Location: Chilliwack, BC Hours: Part-time, approximately 20–30 hours per week. Flexible schedule to accommodate school drop-off and pickup. Job Purpose Support Southern Irrigation’s marketing by creating professional graphic materials and assisting with day-to-day marketing activities. Key Result Areas Consistent Southern branding Quality print and digital design Timely marketing support Organized marketing materials Effective promotional content Job Duties and Responsibilities Graphic Design Create graphics for print, web, email and social media. Design signage, advertisements, presentations and promotional materials. Update existing designs as required. Maintain consistent Southern branding. Prepare files for print and production. Marketing Support Assist with social media content and scheduling. Support email marketing and promotions. Prepare materials for events and trade shows. Organize photos, templates and marketing files. Coordinate with printers and marketing suppliers. Help keep marketing projects organized and on schedule. Assist with other marketing activities as required. Competencies Graphic design experience with a portfolio of work. Proficient with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Strong eye for layout, colour and presentation. Organized and able to manage multiple projects. Good written and verbal communication. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Creative and willing to bring forward new ideas. Experience with social media, HubSpot, video or website updates is an asset.
