Job details

Robotics Expert Position: Robotics Expert Type: Contractor Compensation: $50–$90/hour Location: Remote About the Opportunity We are seeking Robotics Experts to support a video annotation project focused on robotic systems. You’ll review footage of robotic arms performing tasks, apply detailed labels, and use your robotics expertise to evaluate whether tasks were completed correctly. No prior AI experience is required — your technical robotics expertise is what matters. Key Responsibilities Review and annotate robotic-arm video footage according to detailed guidelines. Tag actions, events, and errors, including their start and end points. Identify task failures such as missed grasps, dropped objects, poor paths, and inaccurate positioning. Apply annotation rules consistently across all sessions. Flag unclear or borderline cases and help resolve annotation questions. Use knowledge of motion control, perception, sensors, and robot integration to explain failures. Suggest improvements to annotation guidelines when recurring issues arise. Complete assigned annotation volume while maintaining quality and accuracy. Required Qualifications Background in robotics, mechanical engineering, electronics engineering, or a related technical field. Hands-on experience with robotic arms or robotic systems in industry, research, or laboratory settings. Strong understanding of robot motion control, kinematics, grasping, perception, and sensors. Ability to distinguish correct and faulty robot behavior through video observation. Exceptional attention to detail and consistency. Ability to follow detailed technical guidelines precisely. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently in a remote environment. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience with video annotation or data labeling. Experience evaluating robotic behavior or technical footage. Background in robotics research or AI-related projects. Compensation Competitive compensation of $50–$90/hour. Independent contractor engagement. Fully remote and flexible project-based work. Approximately 250 positions available. Application Process Submit your application and relevant robotics experience. Complete any required screening or evaluation. Complete project onboarding and annotation guidelines training. Begin reviewing and annotating robotic footage if selected.
