Your Impact and What We'll Achieve Together As a Kinesiologist, you will be responsible for assessing clients and providing recommendations and supporting documentation as part of their annual preventive health assessments or follow-up consultations. Here's How You'll Make a Difference Welcome and assist patients upon arrival in a courteous and professional manner. Supervise exercise ECG (stress test) procedures. Assess patients' physical fitness (VO₂ max, CPET, body composition using bioelectrical impedance analysis, Kinetisense, etc.). Provide clients with health-related guidance and prepare personalized recommendations based on their health status. Deliver and conduct follow-up consultations. Assess candidates' physical abilities according to employer requirements (lifting tests, back assessments, and other required functional evaluations) as occasional coverage for the occupational health clinic. Stay current through continuing education as determined by TELUS Health. Complete individual or team projects each quarter. Respond appropriately in emergency situations. Qualifications What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology. Minimum of one year of relevant experience. Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written (required). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, sound judgment, analytical thinking, and a proactive approach. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing effectively as a team member. Proficiency with computer applications. Ability to manage stress and adapt to unexpected situations. Strong motivation, accountability, and sense of responsibility. Professional presentation and a strong commitment to customer service. Assets Experience supervising exercise ECG (stress test) procedures. Experience using electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Experience conducting ergonomic assessments. An intermediate level of English is required, as you will regularly interact in English with external parties (such as clients, suppliers, or external partners), collaborate with internal stakeholders and colleagues in English, and work within English-language computer systems as part of the responsibilities of this provincially scoped position.
