We are looking for a thoughtful, organized and culturally aware Social Media Marketing Intern to support a purpose-driven client account. Role Description: Job type: This is a paid, part-time, remote position paying $20/hr. You will work closely with The Flourish and its clients to help keep content organized, scheduled and performing effectively across all social media platforms. Responsibilities: - Schedule approved content using Planable - Write and refine social media captions - Support content research and ideation - Ideate and edit short-form content, adapting to various platforms - Monitor comments, messages and community conversations - Flag sensitive inquiries for review - Assist with monthly social media reporting - Track engagement, reach and audience growth - Maintain organized content calendars and files - Stay informed about relevant platform and cultural trends What we're looking for: A student, recent graduate or early-career marketer Strong written communication and attention to detail Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn Advanced experience with Canva and social scheduling tools An understanding of culturally relevant storytelling Reliable, organized and able to meet deadlines independently Ownership mindset and the ability to manage tasks Strong time-management skills and attention to detail Understands the foundations of marketing strategy and social media marketing Is knowledgeable about algorithms, engagement tactics and content creation What you'll gain Hands-on agency and client experience Exposure to content strategy, reporting and community management Portfolio-building opportunities Direct mentorship from The Flourish Insight into managing a multi-platform social campaign Client management skills and multi-platform campaign planning/execution This temporary, part-time position does not include health or dental benefits.
