We are faith-based, not-for-profit organizations committed to creating safe, comfortable communities where individuals experience caring, belonging, and purpose.*** **The Opportunity** **Location** Good Samaritan Pembina Village 5225 50 Street, Evansburg, AB (Approximately 110km west of Edmonton) **Employment Type** Permanent Part Time 0.51 FTE **Start Date** June 2, 2026 **Hours of Work** 10:00 – 14:00 Row 2 **Wages** $16.58-$20.70 **Employee Group** AUPE Under general supervision and direction of working leader/working supervisor/laundry worker II, the incumbent is responsible for day-to-day laundering, sorting and delivering of residents’ clothes and other linen items in a safe and efficient manner. You must have completed Grade 10. You are a strong communicator able to communicate well both verbally and in written English. You are reliable, self-motivated and able to work without supervision. You must be able to spend moderate amounts of time lifting objects. You must be able to stand for long periods of time. **Requirements:** - A current and clear Criminal Records Check Form and if applicable a Vulnerable Sector Check that has been obtained no more than 90 calendar days prior to the hire date. - A tuberculosis screening that has been completed no more than 12 months prior to the hire date. ***Internal Closing Date****: May 26, 2026 at 1500 hrs.* ***All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.
