We are seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined individual to join our team as a Part-Time Small Tool Repair Technician and Warehouse Associate. This role is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing small power tools and equipment while also assisting with general warehouse operations. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Inspect, diagnose, and repair small power tools and equipment. * Replace worn or damaged parts as needed. * Ensure all repaired tools meet safety and operational standards. * Identify tools that require replacement or major repairs. * Maintain repair records and document completed work. * Maintain housekeeping standards and ensure work areas are clean and organized. * Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. * Receive incoming shipments and verify products against packing slips and purchase orders. * Perform inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock reconciliations. * Load and unload trucks using forklifts and material handling equipment. * Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment. * Store materials in designated locations while maintaining inventory accuracy. * Assist in organizing warehouse layouts and optimizing storage utilization. QUALIFICATIONS * High school diploma or equivalent required. * Mechanical aptitude and experience diagnosing, repairing small tools, equipment, or machinery. * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. * Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. * Previous warehouse experience is an asset. * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. * Current Valid Driver’s License. SKILLS & COMPETENCIES * Mechanically inclined. Previous small tools or equipment repair experience an asset. * Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. * Experience with pneumatic equipment repairs is considered an asset. * Strong attention to detail and accuracy. * Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. * Strong communication and teamwork skills. * Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment, an asset. * Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and inventory software. * Understanding of workplace safety standards and best practices. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS * Ability to lift up to 55 lbs (25 kg) regularly. * Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods. * Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment. The individual must also be able to wear and properly utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to work or visit within areas where it is required. This includes hard hat, safety glasses/spoggles, respirators, ear plugs, steel toed shoes, or other protective equipment as required by the work performed and location the work is being done. The Company expects and requires all employees to observe and fulfill all safety responsibilities as outlined in workplace safety training, and actively work toward maintaining a safe workplace. Failure to do so can result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment. Regular attendance and punctuality are required of all employees.
