Experience as a crossing-guard would be an asset Provide a satisfactory vulnerable sector check Possess strong observation skills and the ability to recognize traffic hazards Must be able to understand and follow written and oral instructions Be courteous and have the ability to deal effectively with children, pedestrians, drivers etc. Be punctual Be able to carry and raise a "Stop" paddle for the shift duration (5lbs) The Town is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to an inclusive and barrier-free workplace. Requirements

Candidates must enjoy working with children, provide a satisfactory vulnerable sector check, and be able to physically handle a stop paddle. Strong observation skills and the ability to follow oral and written instructions are required.
