Apply today and discover the difference Your role: You will provide a safe, supportive, and caring environment for students, including children with special needs, while travelling to and from school You will assist students with boarding and exiting the school bus safely, ensuring proper securement of mobility devices and other equipment when required You will support students throughout the ride by helping them remain calm, comfortable, and following established safety procedures You build positive, respectful relationships with students while communicating any concerns or incidents to the driver and appropriate school staff You will work closely with the driver to ensure a safe, positive, and inclusive transportation experience for every student You will adhere to the scheduling based on bus route and needs of the students Requirements Your profile: You are safety focused You are 21 years of age or over You can obtain a clean criminal record search with vulnerable sector screening You have a sound knowledge of Sudbury and surrounding areas You have the ability to work with others; specifically the bus driver You are available for the required shifts: Monday to Friday approximately 6:30am to 9:30am AND 1:30pm to 4:30pm (Start and end times will vary depending on the specific details of each route You possess solid communication skills You enjoy being around children of all ages You have experience working with children or individuals with special needs is considered an asset You are comfortable working as a spare monitor helping cover for monitors who are off sick or have booked time off Hourly Rate: We offer a competitive hourly pay $20.80/hour Plus bonus's, Perks & Discounts program, RRSP program and more School routes are paid a minimum 3.5 hours per day!
