Our Tribe Management division specializes in strata and rental management services. We are responsible for the day-to-day operation and management of residential & mixed-use properties in our portfolio. Our client in the Vernon area is seeking a part-time Building Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of 14 residential units. Job Responsibilities The position will be responsible for assisting with the operations of an apartment rental building, which include but are not limited to: Patrol interior and exterior of building, tidying up and picking up litter as needed Mow grass and trim bushes and shrubs Water lawns Rake & dispose of leaves in the fall Sweep laundry rooms, hallways, stairwells and sidewalks Dispose of garbage once bins are full Conduct fire safety checks once a month Check night lights once a month Perform minor repairs as needed to exterior of property Report bylaw infractions to property manager Painting as required Patch asphalt as required Provide access to suites & crawl spaces for contractors Call plumbers for drainage problems Wash laundry room floors monthly Qualifications Motivated and professional Excellent organization and detail-oriented Strong written and verbal communication skills Able to take direction and work well with minimal supervision Rental building management experience Preferred Working knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act an assets Benefits We offer a competitive compensation package and a great working environment to the right candidate.
