Athletics Production Crew

This competition is open to all applicants however; internal candidates and applicants who were former employees of the University of Alberta will be given priority consideration before external candidates. Work primarily takes place at North Campus and South Campus, Edmonton. Work also takes place at Silent ice Centre, Nisku. In order for this success to be achieved, a diligent, behind the scenes, staff must ensure all events run smoothly and effectively. With twenty-two teams and over five hundred student-athletes, the University of Alberta Athletics is a leader in both the Canada West and U SPORTS conferences. We are looking for outgoing individuals to fill positions in our Hockey, Basketball, Football and Volleyball Production Crews for all varsity home games throughout the season (September - March). If you have an interest in sport and want to assist the Athletic Department in providing an awesome webcast + in-game atmosphere for our student athletes and spectators, we want to hear from you. The Production Crew consists of the following positions: TriCaster Production Director Instant Replay Operator Audio Operator Camera Operator Video Board Operator The University of Alberta, its buildings, labs and research stations are primarily located on the territory of Néhiyaw (Cree), Niitsitapi (Blackfoot), Métis, Nakoda (Stoney), Dene, Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) and Anishinaabe (Ojibway/Saulteaux), lands that are now known as part of Treaties 6, 7 and 8 and homeland of the Métis. Operate production equipment including cameras, audio, and video boards to provide webcasts and in-game atmospheres for varsity sports. Ensure all home games for hockey, basketball, football, and volleyball run smoothly and effectively.

Requires a high school diploma and technical savvy with a strong understanding of live sports television and specific sports knowledge. Candidates must be available to work Friday and Saturday nights and possess basic computer proficiency.
