The incumbent is responsible for all aspects of herd husbandry, including the daily comfort, care, health, and production needs of dairy cattle. Duties include milking, feed management, cleaning animal areas, and providing support to researchers and veterinarians.

The Registered Veterinary Technician will provide clinical support in the Intensive Care Unit, including patient monitoring, administering treatments, and performing diagnostic tests. They will also coordinate patient care and provide technical guidance to students and staff.
