Veterinary Reception, Client Care Location: Vancouver, BC Compensation: $18-$20 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Position: Part-time Yaletown Animal Hospital is growing! We are currently welcoming a Veterinary Reception Client Care to join our dynamic team! This part-time opportunity is two 10-hour shifts a week, and has the potential to grow into a full-time position in future. One weekend day will be included in this schedule. The CSR role includes a range of responsibilities that directly contribute to the efficient and effective daily operation of the hospital. Your primary responsibility is to ensure our clients and their pets feel welcomed, expertly cared for, and appreciated! Additional responsibilities and qualities required for this role are: Create a warm and welcoming environment for our patients and pet parents Create and maintain client and patient records effectively Reliably document all interactions in the patient's records Ability to answer a multiline phone system Track and schedule appointments effectively Placing outbound calls to pet parents for follow-up Respond and manage email and text correspondence Invoicing, billing, and processing payments General housekeeping duties; cleanliness of client-facing areas and common areas Willingness to learn more regarding veterinary services, updated medical office procedures and assisting the Veterinary staff with various tasks Previous customer service or front desk experience in hospitality is an asset! Must be flexible and available to work shift work (early as 7:30 AM and late as 7:30 PM), weekdays, and weekends.
