Role Description The Freelance Videographer role at Virgule Corp is a part-time, on-site position located in Toronto, ON. The videographer will plan and execute video shoots that support digital marketing campaigns, including brand stories, promotional content, and social media assets. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with the creative and marketing teams, operating cameras and related equipment, setting up lighting, and capturing high-quality footage on location. The role also involves organizing and delivering raw or lightly edited video files, following brand guidelines, and meeting project timelines. The videographer is expected to work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure visual content aligns with campaign objectives and client expectations. Qualifications Ability to manage end-to-end video production, including planning shoots and coordinating logistics. Strong camera operation skills, including familiarity with different types of cameras and related accessories. Proficiency in lighting setup for indoor and outdoor shoots to achieve professional visual quality. Experience in shooting video for marketing, social media, and branded content. Knowledge of basic video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) for assembling and refining footage. Understanding of digital marketing principles and how video content supports branding and audience engagement. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to follow creative direction and meet deadlines. Portfolio demonstrating videography work; relevant education or training in film, media, or a related field is an asset.
