Meet Wendat Community Programs. Wendat is a charitable organization providing care, treatment, rehabilitation and community support to adults experiencing mental health challenges and seniors with care needs throughout North Simcoe–Muskoka. Our work reaches across 11 essential services: ADULT MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES • Case Management • Brief Service • Crisis Services • Supported Employment • Social Club PSYCHOGERIATRIC SERVICES • Transition Service • Mobile Social Work SENIORS’ COMMUNITY SUPPORTS • Assisted Living • Seniors’ Day Program • Social Dining SUPPORTIVE HOUSING • The Lorna Tomlinson Residence for Seniors Located in Penetanguishene, the Lorna Tomlinson Residence is a welcoming 21-bed home for seniors with limited incomes. Residents receive safe, supportive housing, meals, activities and access to assistance—all within a caring community that values dignity, independence and belonging. Although our programs serve different needs, they share one purpose: helping people achieve greater health, well-being and independence in the communities where they live, work and connect.
