Job summary

World Waterpark Guest Services Attendants are responsible for coordinating the sales of products and services of World Waterpark, ensuring that guests have a fun and memorable experience. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Providing information on World Waterpark’s hours of operations, events, rental spaces, programming, park concessions and attractions. Assisting with calls for birthdays, Toddler Time information, park status, and rentals bookings. Processing daily admissions, rentals, Choice Passes, birthday parties, and tickets for various events held in the World Waterpark. Cashing out and balancing sales at the end of every shift. Contacting customers regarding bookings, parties, emailing and faxing information and confirmation. Working shifts in the Guest Services and Tube Shack ticketing area. Lifting boxes or items up to 20kg. Keeping all areas clean and stocked. Maintaining a professional dress code at all times being the first representative of World Waterpark. Assisting in other duties as assigned. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience working successfully with a variety of employees, including mentoring employees new to the workforce. Previous experience in a Supervisory role in the retail industry is considered an asset. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills complemented by team building and motivational abilities. Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook as well the ability to adapt to other software programs as required. Previous experience handling cash and providing quality customer service with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: This is a part-time position that requires flexible availability Monday through Sunday, days, evenings, weekends and holidays. Must be able to pass a basic security clearance.

Requirements

Candidates should have previous experience in customer service and cash handling, with supervisory experience in retail considered an asset. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and the ability to lift up to 20kg are required.
