Job Description The Registered Technologist will provide high quality patient care and quality images to the radiologist to aid in patient diagnosis and management. The successful candidate must use independent judgment and systematic problem solving methods to produce high quality diagnostic information and have knowledge of computer acquisition and analysis and other related duties as assigned. Accountabilities: Perform patient assessments Participate in the accurate maintenance of the patient’s records Perform daily quality control Facilitate the provision of optimal patient care while observing and understanding hospital and departmental policies and procedures Qualifications Must have current CMRITO and CAMRT registration Certified with Ontario Breast Screening Program required Mammography certification an asset Recent experience within the last two years Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing Ability to organize work load effectively Demonstrated ability to foster an environment to facilitate effective teaching and learning relationships and provide effective consultation with the clinical educators Physical ability to perform the expected job duties Knowledge of CAR Mammography Accreditation program an asset Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Must demonstrate Osler's Values of Respect, Excellence, Service, Compassion, Innovation and Collaboration Excellent attendance, punctuality and work record Demonstrated ability to organize work, set objectives and establish priorities May be required to travel between and work at all Osler sites Additional Information Hours: Currently Days/Evenings, 8 hour shifts including weekends and statutory holidays (subject to change in accordance with operational requirements) SALARY: Minimum: $36.84 per hour Maximum: $50.24 per hour HOOPP Pension Plan: Secure Your Future with Osler When you join Osler, you're not just starting a job; you're investing in your future.
