NPP Junior Leader

Knowledge & Skills: * Broad knowledge of instructional methods, activities, and the development of children ages 6 to 12. * Promotes philosophy of “Learning Through Play”. * Knowledge of children and youth programming * Knowledge of Trauma-Informed, Person-Centered Care. * Knowledge of the Harm Reduction Model and Housing First Philosophy * Strong interpersonal skills with peers, participants, parents, and the public * Strong communication skills, both written and oral. * Strong organizational and planning skills. Qualifications: * Experience working with children 6-12 years. * Post-secondary education (completed or working towards) in a related field considered an asset * Valid CPR and First Aid- Level C with AED * Criminal Record Check and Child and Youth Intervention Record Check * Valid Class 5 Drivers License and a reliable mode of transportation.
