Job summary
Position Overview This is a part-time seasonal position at the RBC Amphitheatre in Toronto, Ontario. Employment will last until mid to late October, and the hours will vary weekly. Shifts are commonly on evenings and weekends, with a few full-day events scheduled. Listed are some of the key responsibilities and duties required of a Stand Lead: Stand Leads are responsible for ensuring the overall smooth operation of their designated location. Maintaining stock levels and following the necessary ordering procedures when required. Required to instruct, direct, and supervise all staff working in the designated location to ensure all duties are being performed according to set policies, standards and health and safety, along with maintaining the highest possible customer service standards. Required to efficiently count opening and closing inventory. Maintaining all required paperwork such as employee timesheets, temperature control logs, ordering forms, stand sheets, transfer sheets, etc. Must conduct pre-event team meetings with employees at the assigned location. Communicating event information, observations from previous events, and directions on various areas of Employee Standards. At the end of the event, the Stand Lead may have to recount any discrepancies in inventory and submit completed stand sheets and paperwork. Required Qualifications: Must have a valid Smart Serve and be at least 18 years of age to handle alcohol legally. Previous experience supervising employees.
