As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Part-Time Sales Consultant who is confident, personable, organized, and genuinely passionate about events. POSITION DETAILS Position: Part-Time Sales Consultant Hours: 12 hours per week Schedule: In-office routine only - Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday Location: 7600 Hwy 27 - Vaughan Industry: Events, Entertainment & Hospitality THE ROLE As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for helping drive new business while developing meaningful relationships with couples, corporate clients, venues, event planners, restaurants, and private clients. You will work closely with the Bix Co. team to understand client requirements, recommend the right entertainment or photo booth experience, prepare quotes and proposals, follow up with leads, and help convert inquiries into confirmed bookings. This role is ideal for someone who is outgoing, persuasive without being pushy, highly organized, reliable, and comfortable communicating with clients professionally. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Sales & Lead Generation Respond to inbound inquiries and identify new sales opportunities. Prospect for potential clients, venues, planners, businesses, and event partners. Conduct outreach through email, phone, social media, and other appropriate channels. Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline. Follow up consistently with prospective clients to move opportunities forward. Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and repeat business. Client Consultation & Relationship Building Speak with clients to understand their event vision, budget, priorities, and requirements. Recommend customized entertainment and photo booth solutions based on each client's needs. Build strong relationships with couples, corporate clients, venues, planners, and industry partners. Deliver a high level of professionalism and customer service throughout the sales process. Maintain ongoing communication with clients from initial inquiry through booking. Quotes, Proposals & Closing Prepare professional quotes, proposals, packages, and booking information. Clearly communicate the value and benefits of Bix Co. services. Present customized options that align with the client's event and budget. Handle questions, objections, and negotiations professionally. Follow up strategically and confidently work toward closing the sale. Assist with contracts, deposits, booking confirmations, and required documentation. CRM & Sales Administration Maintain accurate and up-to-date lead and client information. Record calls, emails, follow-ups, proposals, and sales activity in the company's CRM. Track leads and ensure no qualified opportunity is overlooked. Maintain organized records of contracts, correspondence, and client information. Provide regular updates on sales activity, opportunities, and pending bookings. Marketing & Promotion Support sales-driven marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns. Help promote Bix Co. services through social media, email, networking, and industry outreach. Assist with email marketing campaigns and lead-nurturing initiatives. Identify potential promotional opportunities and partnerships. Support the development of sales materials, brochures, presentations, and promotional content. Represent Bix Co. professionally at networking opportunities, venue visits, showcases, and industry events when required. Market & Industry Development Research wedding, corporate, hospitality, and event industry trends. Identify potential venues, planners, companies, and strategic partners. Monitor competitor offerings and market activity. Provide feedback and recommendations to management regarding emerging opportunities. Stay informed about Bix Co.'s services, packages, pricing, and new offerings. Customer Experience & Follow-Up Maintain communication with clients throughout the sales journey. Conduct post-inquiry and post-event follow-ups when appropriate. Gather client feedback and identify opportunities for repeat business or referrals. Ensure every client interaction reflects Bix Co.'s premium service standards. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR We are looking for someone who is: Outgoing, confident, and personable Naturally comfortable speaking with new people Professional and polished in written and verbal communication Highly organized and detail-oriented Reliable and accountable Comfortable making sales calls and following up with leads Motivated by achieving sales goals Able to manage multiple leads and priorities simultaneously Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a team Proactive and willing to take initiative Passionate about weddings, events, entertainment, hospitality, or experiential marketing Comfortable working in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment Customer-focused with strong relationship-building skills EXPERIENCE 2+ year of experience in sales, customer service, hospitality, events, marketing, or a related field is preferred. Experience working with weddings, corporate events, venues, restaurants, or event professionals is considered an asset. Previous experience in a client-facing sales environment is strongly preferred. Experience using CRM systems, email marketing platforms, or sales software is an asset. Event planning or event industry experience is an asset. REQUIREMENTS Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. Must be located in the GTA. Must have a valid driver's licence and reliable transportation. Excellent English communication skills. Strong computer and administrative skills. Availability for scheduled 12-hour weekly shifts. Flexibility to occasionally attend client meetings, networking opportunities, venue visits, or promotional events. Fluent in English - Bonus Italian, Hindi, Punjabi, or French is considered an asset.
