Trim Crew – Turf Maintenance Wyndance Golf Club Uxbridge, Ontario Part-Time | Seasonal About Wyndance Golf Club Wyndance Golf Club is a high-end, private golf facility known for championship-level playing conditions and strong turf management standards. Our maintenance team plays a critical role in the presentation and performance of the golf course, and we take pride in working efficiently, safely, and as a team. Position Summary We are seeking Trim Crew Members to support our Turf Maintenance operation. This role is primarily responsible for string trimming (weed eating) across the golf course, with a strong focus on mounds and transition areas between holes. This position involves repetitive trimming work performed as a team, three times per week, often in high heat and changing weather conditions. Ideal candidates are self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working independently outdoors. Key Responsibilities Operate string trimmers (weed eaters) 3 times per week (Mon, Wed, Fri) Trim mounds, slopes, and defined turf areas between holes Maintain consistent edging and clean presentation standards Safely operate equipment on uneven terrain and slopes Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance Follow all workplace safety procedures and turf guidelines Work efficiently with minimal supervision Assist with additional turf maintenance tasks as needed Required Qualifications & Requirements Comfortable performing physical outdoor work in high heat and varying conditions Ability to safely operate a weed eater for extended periods Strong work ethic and self-motivation Attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship Reliable transportation and punctual attendance Preferred (Not Required) Previous golf course or landscaping experience Experience operating string trimmers or similar equipment Familiarity with working on slopes, mounds, and rough terrain Note: Prior experience is an asset, but training will be provided for the right candidate.
