What you’ll do: The successful candidate will be responsible for the following (and other duties as required): * Providing customers with excellent, efficient, courteous service * Provide a neat, clean, fresh and well merchandised department * All duties associated with inventory stocking and taking inventory counts * Compliance with government standards and regulations that apply to the Camrose Food store * Complete up-to-date in-house training and certifications via e-learning courses * Alert for the unauthorized removal of merchandise and equipment * Ensure the quality and condition of all merchandise meets the store’s standards. * Follow all cleaning and maintenance schedules. * Compliance with all Safety policies and procedures and look out for the safety of others * Adhere to all Wild Rose Co-op policies and procedures This position requires the use of computers, as well as heavy lifting of products. Candidates will demonstrate the following: * Understanding of our Values (Teamwork, People, Excellence, Community) * Committed to providing excellent customer service to our member-owners as well as internal customers * Quality communication skills * Ability to work days, evenings and weekends This position will report to the Bakery Manager This is a part-time position based on 16-24 hrs/week, the successful candidate will have the ability to work days, evenings, and weekends. The Bakery Clerk is responsible for providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean, well-merchandised department. They must also manage inventory, ensure product quality, and adhere to all safety and store policies.

Candidates should have previous customer service experience and the ability to perform heavy lifting. The role requires availability to work days, evenings, and weekends, as well as the ability to use computers.
