Cornerstone Co-op invites applications for the position of Bakery Clerk to join our Bakery team on a part-time basis at our location in Wainwright, AB. Reporting to the Bakery Manager. What you’ll do: * Package, price and merchandise bakery products. * Fulfill customer orders and provide customer service at bakery counter. * Follow opening, closing and cleaning procedures. * Follow safety procedures at all times. * Resolve customer issues and answer questions. * Follow department standards for stock rotation, including First In First Out (FIFO). * Work a variety of shifts, including days, weekends, and holidays. * Demonstrate day-to-day behaviours and actions that align with and strengthen the Co-operative’s vision, mission, values and focus on safety. * Perform other duties as assigned to support team operations and customer service initiatives. Loads exceeding 50 lbs will be managed with lifting equipment or assistance in accordance with safety guidelines. * You are able to stand and move throughout your shift, including walking, bending, and reaching wile staying active with tasks such as assisting customers, unloading freight and stocking shelves. * You are action oriented, customer focused and work well on your own. * You can handle competing deadlines and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. * You are honest, trustworthy, results-oriented, and strive to be the best in what you do. * You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver meaningful solutions, valuing diverse perspectives to meet shared objectives.
