Lacombe Food Store presents the perfect opportunity for you! We're seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our dynamic team. Position: Meat Cutter Casual: Less than 24 hours Availability: Weekdays and weekends- mornings, afternoons, and evenings Responsibilities: * Provide exceptional customer service and answer customer questions * Skillfully slicing, trimming, and preparing a variety of meat selections and cuts, then carefully wrapping and packaging each with utmost precision. * Manage time efficiently to complete all special orders * Order, receive, and display merchandise * Practice safe food handling procedures and wear appropriate attire * Perform general housekeeping duties, following proper sanitation procedures and maintaining housekeeping logs * Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager Qualifications: * Outstanding customer service and communication skills * Exceptional attention to detail and quality * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Team player with the ability to work independently * Correct handling of knives and proficient utilization of other cutting tools * Experience with food preparation is an asset; training is available * Capable of working in a cold/refrigerated environment * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; some heavy lifting is required * Applicants must be over 14 years old. (Employment Standards mandates a permit to employ a person aged 14 or under, thus disclosure is required.)
