Description: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) works as a member of the multidisciplinary health care team, collaborating in the delivery of holistic care and support to patients/residents and families. The LPN practices to full scope, applying professional nursing knowledge, clinical judgment, critical thinking, and communication skills to support safe care and positive health outcomes. Active registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses and Health Care Aides of Alberta (CLHA). Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (Level C) required. Additional Required Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year LPN experience in Continuing Care within the past 2 years. Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team. Preferred Qualifications: Connect Care experience.

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of a Practical Nursing program with active registration with the CLHA and Basic Life Support certification. A minimum of one year of LPN experience in Continuing Care within the last two years is required.
