As a Food Services Clerk, reporting to the Food Services Manager, you will perform a variety of clerical tasks within the food services function. This position requires excellent customer service skills, auditing skills, attention to detail and is an essential contributor to excellent patient experience. Your work will include: Receive and fill any new menu as per request logged Check assembled tray against meal ticket to ensure order is as submitted Compare tickets to record. Contact Units where there are any gaps to ensure clear on requirements. Confirm no duplicates. Call the Emergency department to determine number and type of meal trays required Ensure clarity for trayline staff – name printed at bottom, along with any special notes/instructions, colour code special diet menus according to legend Temperature check food, beverages and record.
