Job Title: Part-Time Guest Service Agent / Night Auditor

Location: Hilton Garden Inn Toronto/Ajax, Ajax, Ontario Job Type: Part-Time

Job Summary

Hilton Garden Inn Toronto/Ajax is seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Part-Time Guest Service Agent / Night Auditor to join our Front Office team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences by ensuring efficient check-in and check-out procedures, handling guest inquiries professionally, and maintaining the highest standards of hospitality. Overnight shifts will also include completing the night audit process, balancing daily financial transactions, and preparing reports to ensure the accuracy of hotel operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests with a warm and professional attitude while providing exceptional customer service.
  • Perform guest check-in and check-out procedures accurately and efficiently.
  • Answer phone calls, emails, and guest inquiries in a courteous and timely manner.
  • Manage room reservations, modifications, and cancellations using the hotel’s property management system.
  • Process guest payments, maintain accurate records, and balance cash and credit card transactions.
  • Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues when necessary.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Promote Hilton Honors, hotel amenities, and available services.
  • Complete nightly audit procedures, reconcile daily revenue, generate reports, and ensure financial accuracy during overnight shifts.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby areas.
  • Follow Hilton brand standards, hotel policies, and safety procedures at all times.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hospitality, hotel front desk, customer service, or a similar role is preferred.
  • Night audit experience is considered an asset but is not required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
  • Comfortable using computers and learning hotel property management systems.
  • Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy with financial transactions.
  • Ability to work independently during overnight shifts and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts.
