Unison Jane Hoffman Realty is seeking an experienced Junior Real Estate Conveyancer to join our team on a part-time basis. Working alongside the Head Conveyancer, the successful candidate will assist with the coordination and processing of residential and commercial real estate transactions, ensuring a high level of accuracy, organization, and client service throughout the conveyancing process.

This role is ideal for someone with previous conveyancing or legal administration experience who enjoys structure, accuracy, and delivering an outstanding experience for agents and clients alike. Working alongside our Head Conveyancer and Management Team, you will support residential and commercial transactions while developing your knowledge of BC real estate practices, compliance, and conveyancing systems.

What you'll do:

Assist with the preparation and processing of residential and commercial transactions. Review contracts and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy. Enter and maintain transaction information within brokerage software systems. Monitor deposits, closing dates, and outstanding items. Coordinate with agents, lawyers, notaries, lenders, and co-operating brokerages. Follow established procedures and maintain a high level of organization. Communicate professionally with agents regarding missing or deficient documentation. Support the conveyancing department in maintaining efficient and compliant workflows. Stay current on industry regulations and best practices through ongoing training and education.

Experience Required:

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Real Estate Conveyancer or Paralegal as well as the following qualifications/skills:

Superior ability to critically think about each real estate transaction and reference and question the deal flow to ensure A+ conveyancing services - this includes service to sellers and buyers, agents, lawyers, notaries, lenders and anyone involved in the real estate transaction Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities Highly motivated and high level of attention to detail

Compensation: Competitive hourly compensation ranging from $28 to $35 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
