At Asana Physiotherapy, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care and supporting our clients on their journey to recovery and wellness. As our practice continues to grow, we are looking for a Physiotherapy Assistant to join our dynamic team. This position offers an opportunity to work closely with licensed physiotherapists, assisting in patient rehabilitation and ensuring optimal recovery outcomes.

**Job Responsibilities:**

• Assist physiotherapists in implementing treatment plans and therapy sessions.
• Prepare treatment areas and equipment while ensuring cleanliness and safety.
• Support patients with mobility exercises, emphasizing proper technique.
• Monitor patient responses during sessions and report any issues to the physiotherapist.
• Document patient progress and treatment activities accurately.
• Help with administrative tasks like scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
• Maintain compliance with infection control and safety procedures.

**Additional Tasks:**

• Communicate with patients in person, over the phone, and via email.
• Organize and maintain patient files.
• Assist with patient discharge and prepare for new appointments.
• Coordinate with ICBC, WSBC, insurers, and other third parties as needed.
• Keep the therapy area clean and well-organized.

**Qualifications:**

• Proficiency in computer applications (e.g., Word, Excel).
• Familiarity with WSBC, ICBC, and MSP paperwork and billing is preferred.
• Experience with the Jane App is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
