Job Description

We are looking for a part-time or full-time pharmacy technician to join our team.

We offer a positive team environment and being located in a smaller community allows you to easily collaborate with physicians in the area. This allows our pharmacy teams to provide our patients with exceptional care.

Registered pharmacy technicians are responsible for:

• Prescription processing
• Troubleshooting insurance issues
• Performing final technical checks on prescriptions, including blister packs
• Counselling patients on a variety of health devices
• Customer service
• Freeing up the pharmacist to perform clinical responsibilities

The successful candidate will have:

• An active Canadian pharmacy technician license.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to multi task.
• Problem solving skills.

Compensation is negotiable based on experience level of the successful candidate. Benefits include payment of registration fees and insurance for full-time employees.
