Part-Time Pharmacist Location: Lynden, Ontario Shift: Weekdays, Weekends, No Evenings Competitive Salary + Shift Differentials
About Us Daily Dose Pharmacy is a leading provider of pharmaceutical care, committed to delivering exceptional patient-centered services. We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Part-Time Pharmacist to join our team and ensure safe, accurate, and efficient pharmacy operations during overnight hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription medications in compliance with Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP) regulations.
- Provide professional consultation to patients regarding medication usage, interactions, and side effects.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient therapy.
- Ensure proper documentation and adherence to provincial and federal regulations.
- Oversee and support pharmacy technicians and assistants in daily operations.
- Monitor and manage inventory, including narcotics and controlled substances.
- Handle emergency medication requests and ensure timely fulfillment.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Licensed Pharmacist in Ontario and in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP).
- PharmD or Bachelor?s Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a community, hospital, or long-term care pharmacy setting.
- Strong knowledge of Ontario pharmacy regulations, drug schedules, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and make informed clinical decisions.
- Experience with pharmacy management systems (e.g., Kroll, HealthWatch, or equivalent) is an asset.

Pay: $55.00-$60.00 per hour
