Role Description: The Front Desk Receptionist is a part-time, on-site role based at Rockies Building Supplies INC. in Calgary, AB. This role is responsible for greeting visitors, answering and directing phone calls, and serving as the first point of contact for customers and delivery partners. Day-to-day tasks include managing the reception area, handling incoming and outgoing mail, coordinating appointment scheduling, and maintaining organized records and basic clerical documentation. The Front Desk Receptionist will support customer inquiries about orders, products, and services, and work closely with the warehouse and sales teams to ensure clear communication and efficient service. The role also involves maintaining a professional, welcoming environment and upholding company standards for customer care and operational reliability.

Qualifications Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with homeowners, contractors, and suppliers. Experience with receptionist duties and phone etiquette, including answering multi-line phones, directing calls, and greeting visitors. Solid clerical skills, such as data entry, filing, managing mail, and maintaining basic records and documents. Ability to manage front desk operations in a busy environment, prioritize tasks, and remain organized and detail-focused. Proficiency with common office software (e.g., email, word processing, spreadsheets) and comfort learning internal systems. Reliable punctuality and professionalism, with a commitment to on-site work in Calgary, AB. Prior experience in a reception, administrative, or customer-facing role; experience in construction or building supplies is an asset. High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in office administration or customer service is beneficial.
