Job Description
Under the direction of the Front of House Management Team, our Hosts create a positive guest experience that begins with a proper greeting. They maintain an efficient and organized restaurant through managing guest flow, maximizing seating capacity and communicating with all employees. Hosts leave a lasting impression with all guests through their professionalism and attention to detail.
The day to day:

Greet and seat guests in a warm, professional, and timely manner

Manage reservation and walk-in traffic using Open Table

Monitor table rotation and coordinate with Front Of House and Back Of House teams to optimize guest flow

Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the host stand and entrance area

Answer guest inquiries and assist with special requests, wait times, or accommodations

Support the overall guest experience with a friendly and attentive approach

Assist with bussing tables and support the team by running food and beverages as needed

Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
-
Previous experience as a host or in a guest-facing hospitality role is an asset
-
Strong communication and organizational skills

Calm under pressure, with a proactive and team-oriented mindset

Comfortable using reservation and table management systems (OpenTable) - preferred
-
A passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences

Valid Smart Serve Certification Required

Available to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

This is a part time position, including lunch and dinner services

Legally eligible to work in Canada

Wage: $18 + shared gratuities
