Job Description

We are hiring a part-time Field Service Technician to perform onsite service work at customer facilities. The role includes installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, repairs, and preventive maintenance on packaging equipment and related industrial machinery.

The ideal candidate has hands-on mechanical and basic electrical experience, can work professionally with customers, and is comfortable working independently after receiving direction and training.

Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and test customer equipment Respond to service calls, preventive maintenance visits, and installation jobs Diagnose mechanical and basic electrical issues Read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings Communicate clearly and professionally with customers Provide basic customer training when required Complete service reports and update the company after each job Represent Motiontek Industrial in a professional manner at customer sites Requirements Minimum 2 years of field service technician experience Mechanical troubleshooting experience required Basic electrical/electronic knowledge required Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work independently and solve problems on site Trade school or college diploma preferred, but not required Valid driver’s licence preferred Must be able to travel to customer sites in the Vancouver / Lower Mainland area Experience
