About the role
Welcome to the 43 North restaurant group. We are proud to be one the largest hospitality employers in the Niagara region; managing a variety of culinary experiences from full- service dining, quick-service, corporate events, on and off-site catering as well as tours. We are now looking for experienced and energetic Sous Chef to assist with the Kitchen operations at 335 on the Ridge
The Sous Chef is responsible for assisting with BOH operations and driving financial results. This includes executing a high level of food & beverage, driving sales and profitability, building a strong workplace culture and growing a team, maintaining cleanliness and adherence to specs and all H&S standards.
What are we looking for?
- Ability to uphold all brand standards
- Versed in food safety and WHMIS
- Able to understand and manage weekly COG?s
- Able to set and achieve labour targets by implementing weekly forecasting and executing plan
- Provide coaching and development for all team members
- Quick to identify opportunities in the daily operations and coach improvement plans
- Able to Motivate and grow a team while aligning the team on the needs of the business
- Have the Culinary expertise to assist with menu development
- Maintain a positive outlook at all times, even when under pressure
- 2 years in premium casual environment
