For more information, visit www.thessu.ca. General Responsibilities Report to the Director – Student Executive Team as the direct manager and support SSU priorities and initiatives. Represent and advocate for the interests of Sheridan students across all campuses. Develop and implement initiatives that enhance the student experience. Collaborate with other Executive Team members to ensure cross-campus representation and impact. Attend staff meetings, planning sessions, conferences, and campus events as required. Prepare reports and updates on initiatives for the SSU Board of Directors and internal teams. Engage with students to collect feedback and identify emerging needs and trends. Represent the SSU in meetings, events, and external engagements when required. Support fellow Executives with initiatives to ensure collaboration across the team. Role-Specific Responsibilities Executive of Academic Integrity & Student Success Serve as a point of contact for students seeking support with academic concerns. Support students academically through Academic Appeals, directing students to available services such as tutoring or Academic Advisors, being well-informed of these resources, and finding new resources to bring to Sheridan students. Meet with Associate Deans and Program Coordinators to support students in various faculties. Promote awareness of academic services that support student success. Gather feedback on academic challenges and identify gaps in support services. Qualifications A successful candidate will have: Excellent verbal, and written communication skills; Confidence in public speaking to groups of students and while hosting events; An ability to conduct themselves in a professional manner; A flexible schedule to be able to work a variety of hours during regular business hours (between 8am and 6pm); A positive and respectful attitude; A strong, creative mind to create new and innovative campus initiatives; Familiarity and aptitude with popular social media platforms; A self-motivated work-ethic with the ability to work independently and in a team environment; and The ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with honesty and integrity If you’re interested in this opportunity, please submit your application online at: www.thessu.ca/jobs.
