Job Summary We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Health Care Aide to provide exceptional support and care to our clients in various settings, including assisted living, nursing homes, and home care environments. The ideal candidate will have experience working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those requiring hospice or dementia care. This role involves assisting with daily activities, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a safe and clean environment. The position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need while developing valuable caregiving skills.

Duties

• Provide personalized patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Support with medication administration following prescribed guidelines.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding for clients with specific dietary needs.
• Help clients with activities of daily living such as toileting and transferring.
• Monitor and report changes in patients? health status to healthcare professionals.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment through light cleaning duties.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, especially those with dementia or experiencing hospice care needs.
• Assist with mobility and heavy lifting as required to ensure client safety.
• Support clients in engaging in recreational activities or exercises suited to their abilities.

Requirements

• Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, home care, or hospice care is preferred.
• Knowledge of senior care, dementia care, working with people with disabilities, and caregiving best practices.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and assist with mobility needs.
• Strong communication skills and compassion for caring for vulnerable populations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Certification or training in medication administration is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; reliability and punctuality are critical.
