Sustained by its 60 years experience, Manitoulin developed the transportation knowledge that is relied on and trusted by clients in various industries.Job DescriptionUnload freight from trailers and load outbound trailers using electronic devices.Mark materials with identifying informationRecord amounts of materials or items received or distributedCount and on occasion is required to weigh items to ensure conformance to the shipper's bill of ladingStarts heaters, placard trailers as requiredArranges freight in specified sequence for maximum usage of trailer spaceMust take an active role in safety and maintenance of the warehouse by sweeping the floor, proper storage of dunnage, etc.Typical Hours will be 16:30-20:30 (Monday - Friday). Other duties may be assignedQualifications WHIMS/Dangerous Goods Certificate/ Tow motor certificate (These items are covered with in-house training programs)Developed problem solving, critical thinking, decision making and judgment skillsAble to lift 50 lbs, sometimes repetitiveAbility to multitask and manage various tasks successfullyAbility to operate our internal computer systemsWilling to train the right applicantKnowledge of AS400 system an assetAdditional InformationWhat do we offer to you?
