Voyago is hiring a Part-Time Signing Authority for our Sudbury location! Your Role Reporting to the Lead Trainer, the Signing Authority/Trainer is responsible for training all employees on how to operate all Company owned vehicles in a safe and professional manner. Additional duties will include: Responsible for ensuring employees are trained to operate school purpose vehicles safely and professionally Deliver training programs to new and existing drivers, ensuring compliance with company standards and legislative requirements Conduct driver evaluations and road assessments to confirm skill and safety levels Provide instruction for licence upgrades as required (B class and E class) Deliver divisional and company-specific training modules (e.g., safety, customer service, policies, Q-Straint training) Train drivers on safe and professional operation of all company vehicles Maintain accurate training records, assessments, and certification documentation Assist with the development and improvement of training materials and methods Provide feedback and mentorship to drivers to encourage continuous improvement. Attend and complete ongoing professional development (e.g., PRIDE program or equivalent) Travel to various company locations across Ontario to deliver training as needed Your profile You have held a B class licence for a minimum of 3 consecutive years (mandatory) You possess a clean driving record and Criminal Record Search with Vulnerable Sector Screening You have excellent customer service experience You have superior organization and communications skills You have an understanding of vehicle for hire industry You have knowledge of wheelchair tie downs and q-straint You have previous instructional / teaching experience You have previous Driver Assessment experience You are willing to attend and complete Professional Instructor in Driver Education (PRIDE) program or Equivalent (Voyago will cover cost of this certification and all costs associated) You are comfortable travelling to various Voyago locations Your Location By joining the Voyago Schools team in Sudbury, you’ll find: We offer a competitive hourly pay of $26.00/hour as a trainer You will be required to drive a morning and afternoon route and train in-between if needed We offer on the job training and job shadowing We provide opportunities for growth The perks We support the development, work-life balance and well-being of our employees We build a supportive corporate culture that encourages diversity and enables our people to flourish.
