Dishwasher/Kitchen Assistant Aspira Hunter Village Retirement Living - 110-250 Hunter Road, Saskatoon, SK, S7T 0Y4 Rate of Pay: $16.32/hr This posting is for an existing vacancy.
This is a Permanent Part-Time position with 60–65 hours biweekly.
Schedule:
- 2 days per week as a Dishwasher working 2:00PM to 8:30PM
- 3 days per week as a Kitchen Assistant working 12:00PM to 6:30PM

The Dishwasher/Kitchen Assistant is a critical role within our communities as it impacts the lives of residents and ignites the warmth of human connection.
As a Dishwasher/Kitchen Assistant your typical day will impact in the following ways:
- Assisting with prep and supporting the cooks.
- Cleaning dishes, pots, glassware, and cutlery following established sanitation procedures.
- Ensuring correct usage of chemicals in dish machine and pot-washing areas, i.e. uses 3-sink method for pot washing.
- Cleaning kitchen, including mopping entire floor.
- Assuming cleaning tasks as per site cleaning schedules.
- Receiving, uncrating, and putting away supplier deliveries as required.
- Alerting team leader to problems and makes recommendations about corrective action.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Must haves:
- Grade 10 minimum education required.
- Must have Food Safe Certificate, or willing to obtain within 30 days of start date
- Proven customer service skills and excellent command of verbal and written English language
- Ability to work independently and/or as a member of a team.
- All applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Vulnerable Sector Check.
