About the role
We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Physiotherapist to join our dynamic team. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients regain their physical strength, mobility, and overall well-being. You will work closely with patients of all ages and conditions, tailoring treatment plans to their unique needs and goals.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical condition and medical history to identify areas of concern and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Utilize a variety of techniques, exercises, and interventions to help patients improve mobility, alleviate pain, and achieve their rehabilitation goals.
- Educate patients on proper body mechanics, injury prevention, and home exercise programs to support their progress.
- Monitor and track patients' progress throughout the treatment process, adjusting therapy plans as needed to ensure optimal results.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive and integrated care for patients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and treatment documentation in accordance with professional standards and company policies.
- Stay informed about the latest developments in physiotherapy and participate in professional development opportunities to continuously enhance your skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
- Valid and current license to practice as a Physiotherapist in Canada.
- Proven experience in providing physiotherapy services, preferably in a clinical or healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and various physiotherapy techniques and modalities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize and build rapport with patients.
- Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to tailor treatment plans to individual patient needs.
- A passion for helping others and a commitment to providing the highest level of patient care.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $400.00-$500.00 per day
