Starting #September 2026 #Funded #hiring opportunitiy for #Undergrads. We are looking for a motivated undergraduate student to join advanced geomaterials lab in #UBCO as a #Parttime #ResearchAssistant. Our work focuses on contaminant transport (#Microplastics; #Heavymetals) modeling #Water and porous medium, and #Carboncapture (cells) modeling. The student will help with hands on laboratory experiments, physical models; data collection, and active research projects connected to #CivilEnvironmental engineering.

The position is suitable for applicants who meet these following requirements:

1. Be currently enrolled as an undergraduate student in an UBCO #Engineering or #Computerscience program, from any discipline.

2. Be available in #September 2026 winter terms for in person (part time) lab work at UBCO.
