Job Summary We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring property, preventing theft or damage, and responding promptly to security incidents. This role is vital in maintaining a secure environment and protecting company assets.

Duties

• Conduct regular patrols of the facility to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards
• Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to oversee all areas of the property
• Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, and coordinate with law enforcement if necessary
• Maintain detailed logs of security activities, incidents, and observations
• Check identification and issue visitor passes as required
• Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or misconduct
• Ensure all security equipment is operational and report any malfunctions

Skills

• Prior experience or training in law enforcement is a plus
• Strong surveillance skills with knowledge of CCTV systems and monitoring techniques
• Ability to assess situations quickly and respond appropriately in high-pressure scenarios
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail
• Good communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and effectively
• Knowledge of loss prevention strategies and techniques is advantageous
• Physical fitness to patrol premises and respond swiftly to incidents
