Part-Time Spanish Teacher (Grades 8-12)

Location: Langley Learning Center

Position: Part-Time (10 hours per week)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Spanish Teacher to provide engaging Spanish language instruction to students in Grades 8–12.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging Spanish language lessons for Grades 8–12. Develop students’ listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in Spanish. Foster a positive, respectful, and Christ-centred classroom environment. Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to students and parents. Maintain accurate student records and collaborate with colleagues to support student success. Participate in staff meetings and professional development as required.

Qualifications

Valid BC Teaching Certificate (or eligibility to teach in British Columbia). Demonstrated proficiency in spoken and written Spanish. Legally authorized to work in Canada. Experience teaching middle and Highschool students is considered an asset. Excellent communication, classroom management, and organizational skills. Must be in agreement with the CHEK ABC statement of faith (www.chekabc.ca)
