About The Position
St. Vital Catholic School is seeking a permanent part-time (0.5 FTE) teacher beginning August 26, 2026. This assignment will involve teaching Grades 4–7, with courses that may include Math, English Language Arts, Health, Science, Social Studies, Religion, and Physical Education.
The successful candidate will create engaging and inclusive learning environments, demonstrate strong instructional practices, and respond effectively to the diverse needs of learners while building positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
As a Catholic school, faith is an important component of the learning environment. We are seeking an individual who is comfortable supporting and modeling the values and teachings of the Catholic faith in their daily work with students and the school community.

Currently, 28 schools are located in 19 communities. Our schools include PreK-12, elementary, high schools, and alternate schools with a population of approximately 5,300 students. Our diverse student population is reflected in a wide variety of programs that exist throughout the schools to meet the guidelines of the Saskatchewan Core Curriculum and the local needs of the community.
Our intent is always to produce strong citizens through the excellent and relevant educational experience of our students. Our schools prepare students to be capable and open-minded individuals.
