About the role

Part-Time Contract (20 hours per week) JOB SUMMARY The Demand Planner is responsible to coordinate and oversee our planning, replenishment, inventory accuracy, and timely fulfillment of products from our vendor base across the organization, though with a majority focus on Bayshore Specialty Rx. The individual will work closely with our Intake, Fulfillment, Logistics and Inventory Control teams to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of client orders, optimize order sequencing by geographic region, and drive effective demand forecasting to support future fulfillment needs. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES · Validate all incoming orders in NAV to ensure accuracy and completeness prior to fulfillment. · Monitor on-hand inventory to ensure sufficient stock for timely order fulfillment; proactively flag shortages to the Purchasing team. · Review, track, and manage backorders, ensuring timely resolution and clear visibility across teams. · Assign geographic tags to orders to support efficient routing and optimized picking and delivery sequencing. · Analyze order volumes and identify opportunities to consolidate customer orders across delivery dates to improve efficiency and reduce transportation and labour costs. · Monitor inventory levels and usage trends to forecast demand, establish appropriate safety stock levels, and support replenishment planning. · Manage inventory impacts of cancelled or modified orders, ensuring accurate stock adjustments and reallocation. · Oversee the assembly and maintenance of product kits, including forecasting usage, monitoring component availability, and supporting kit configuration updates. · Conduct cycle counts and support monthly and annual inventory processes to ensure inventory accuracy. · Track and manage fill rate / service level KPIs (e.g., %25 of orders fulfilled on time, in full). · Identify root causes of missed or delayed orders and implement corrective actions. · Investigate customer complaints related to order fulfillment, inventory availability, or delivery issues; identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. · Act as escalation point for critical or high-priority client orders. · Partner with cross-functional teams (Intake, Finance, Warehouse Fulfillment, Inventory Control, and Purchasing) to ensure alignment on inventory, demand, and fulfillment priorities. · Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service levels, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency. · Responsible for maintaining an efficient, clean, and safe work area. · Support the inventory and warehouse team as required. · Other duties as assigned and required

QUALIFICATIONS Post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management or related field a strong asset, or relevant work experience. Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a warehouse setting with inventory management responsibilities. Knowledge of various WMS or the concepts associated with each. Advanced computer skills and knowledge of MS Office. Must have strong communication, conflict management, problem solving, and interpersonal skills. Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, organization, and execution skills. Physical Requirements Spend the majority working at desk, with regular movement required throughout the facility on foot, including standing. Regularly lift, push, pull, carry, or move objects of varying weights. Occasionally required to lift up to 20 lbs. unassisted. Perform physical tasks including bending, twisting, and reaching to move supplies or other items. Work Environment · Primarily in an indoor, temperature-controlled warehouse and office setting. · Standard working hours are 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day, not including a 30-minute unpaid meal break. Other Skills and Abilities • Employees working in warehouse operations are required to wear and properly use all essential or required personal protective equipment (PPE) as outlined by their department leader and in accordance with the employer’s safety requirements. This obligation applies to current PPE requirements and any future revisions necessary to maintain compliance with applicable occupational health and safety legislation and regulations.
